03-4-2009 - Another L&D night

My mood while writing this blog: Tired

So I was having contractions yesterday morning that lasted about 4 hours and came about every 8 mins. It was intense, but it didn't hurt too bad. So those stopped when I ate lunch.

After work I walked for a while and then took a bath then ate some pizza. About a half hour later the contractions came back with a vengence. Every 4-6 minutes and after about an hour and a half, I was crying because they hurt so bad. So I went in to L&D and they monitored them and told me that they had to stop them or they would be taking Kelly tonight.

I was 1cm when they checked me and really dehydrated so they pumped me full of 3 of those baggies through an IV and when that didn't stop them, they gave me a shot to stop them and that put me to sleep. When I woke they had stopped so they sent me home.

It wasn't much fun and there for a while, I was positive it was going to happen last night. I'm kind of disappointed it didn't, but if she's not ready, she's not ready.

So I haven't had much of anything going on today, I've had a couple contractions today, but nothing consistent. Looks like she hasn't gotten that eviction notice I sent yet.
