08-4-2009 - I suddenly WANT to go to my due date

I realized that we aren't nearly as prepared as I thought we were.

Sure we've got everything for Kelly, but financially, our bills need to be paid!

We're a dual income family and when that gets cut down to one income for 6 weeks, it's going to hurt us. That's 3 paychecks I'll be missing out on.

So I get paid friday, and then the friday right after I have her which should be a full check still. So both of those checks are going completely to bills. If I do that, Jay should be able to keep us afloat until I return to work the first part of June. At least I hope. But all my planning will work only if I get a decent second check, so now I find myself wishing and praying that I go all the way to my c-section date on the 22nd. I don't want to have to worry about bills and stuff on maternity leave, or have to come back to work early!

yeah I am hearing you, money situations sucks sometimes. My partner and I are living pretty tight atm, I got a feeling I will have work alot sooner than I'd hoped, one imcome just doesn't cut it ! Hope everything turns out alright for you though, well, atleast I hope you get to have your full leave that you would deserve. Baby Kelly might feel that vibe of you wanting her to stay longer now, and typically what will she do ? My luck, plans love to go the opposite way ..!!

I'm in the same position. I am already stressing about bills during my maternity leave. I pray things don't go as bad as I'm expecting during that 6 weeks.

Girl, I know just how your feeling!!! I only have 4 more checks before Dj gets here, and I have NO money put back. Everytime I get some put back of corse something important comes up and we have to use it!!! And with only his income its going to be REALLY hard, plus im taking 10 wks. But i know im going to be okay!!And you will too!!
