My mood while writing this blog: CRAZY |
About a month ago I started to get this crazy itchy sensation all over my body, I called the nurse and she seemed to think that there was nothing seriously wrong. I let it go at that point and to be honest some days are much better then others. Stupid me do you think that I ever talked to my doctor or midwife about it, no, I didn't want them to think that I was one of those people that always has to have something wrong with them. But now I am really kicking myself because my itching was so bad that I was having nightmares last night when I actually did fall asleep. I AM SO MAD AT MYSELF FOR NOT TAKING CARE OF THIS!!!!!! Now I don't have another appointment until the 28th of December, this is going to drive me crazy.Oh, I thought that the weight would be the reason I wouldn't be wearing a bikini this summer now I will be lucky if that is the only reason I am so scared that all this itching is going to give me strech marks:(AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!MY HEAD ITCHES, FINGERS, WRISTS, ARMS, LEGS, BOOBS AND BELLY ALL ITCH! I guess I should be happy that my feet, toes and face haven't started yet, I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Friday, 11 Dec This sound a little crazy...but what helped me was to drink LOTS of water and slather up in lotion every chance you get. It'll help keep your skin hydrated, which will inturn make you less itchy!! *good luck!* oskygirl31 -

Friday, 11 Dec I was that way too. The only thing that would keep me from scratching myself to death was Aveno anti-itch lotion. vickiessecret -
Friday, 11 Dec You probably have PUPPS its a pregnancy related rash..your doctor can give you a prescription for a cream. I used unscented vaseline lotion like 3 times a day..I also got the aveeno oatmeal bath...it really sucks. I had it all over my whole belly and down my legs..i have a pic of my leg on my profile If u want to take a look. Unfortunately the only was to get rid of it completely is delivery... they may be able to give you something to keep it under control. They were like little raised red bumps and they itched sooo bad, I'd wake up itching and crying. I hope I don't get it this time too. My dr thought I was over reacting too until she saw it and her jaw hit the floor..." I was like, I wasn't kidding". Defenitely tell ur dr..Just try to keep it moisturized. Good Luck :)
