20-8-2008 - Sick of being pregnant

My mood while writing this blog: Impatient!!

Ughhh. The last few days I have felt really impatient. It's nothing in particular, I have had a dream pregnancy so far with no complications and just the usual general discomforts so it's not like there's anything I feel like I need to escape from by having him (like a really bad back or water retention or something) it's a mental thing. I just have this really strong desire to have my baby but I am only 34 weeks and it is too early. I find it frustrating that i've still got all those weeks to go when I feel like this now. Hopefully it will pass. I don't want to have my baby early because I want him to be as healthy and happy as possible plus I want a homebirth, but I just wish time would hurry up. I need to find ways to keep myself busy and maybe it will go by quicker. I got ahead of myself and got ALL my baby stuff and set his room up, washed all his clothes and bedding and made his beds (cot and bassinet) months ago so there last few weeks there is just nothing for me to do but wait. I should have held my horses and waited to give myself something to do but I wanted to be prepared and make sure I would be ready for him.

Hey there hun.. I know how you feel. I am in week 35 and know I will be induced with this one and even though this is number three for me and I have two kids here (2 1/2 yr old and 9month old) I still want my little one to be here. I was like this with my last two as well and I too have everything done as of today. I am doing laundry and sorting through my stuff right now and soon to pack my hospital bag but one thing I did do to pass time with my first was I started making a scrapbook! I started with belly photos and ultrasound pictures... then when baby was born I tried to keep up as best as possible... I'm a year behind but it was fun while I was off work with nothing to do and she really enjoys looking at it. Just an idea for you!! hang in there... soon you will be wishing for just ONE nights sleep! lol

dont worry Kayla, time will fly.
Since i have finished work it seems to be flying past. theres always something that you hadnt thought of that would need to be done. Also i got told to go see you friends and take time out for yourself as when bub comes, its full on..so theres some ideas..
i always have pently of housework to do, and plus having the flu doesnt help!!
