26-9-2009 - just meh

My mood while writing this blog:

Hey girls.

I hope your all well. As for me i have very tired and upset and feel used..... My friend that opened her own business asked me to help out as a waitress a few nights. I work for my parents place monday to saturday during the day 9am-3ish my mom looks after Eric those days. So she needed just a few nights so the last 2 weeks i worked 9-3 then 5-10pm and it's 25min drive home. Eddie looks after eric those hrs. Once i got home i see eric a bit but then he sleeps and then he doesn't wanna sleep in the crib, so he's sleeps beside me. it's soo hard and i dont see eric or eddie that much just at work. i had to quit, i felt bad but it's must. my family is more important and they need me as i need them. She got mad at me :( i didn't even get a check yet they said yes thursday and iasked then they said we will drop it off at ur rest on friday i waited nothing.... it's saturday night and i'm pissed off and sad. and just run down.

Eric's well and growning up soo fast *knocks on wood* the only problem i got is that he won't sleep in the crib the whole night! once i get him to sleep he will sleep and then wake up like 4-5am and has a bottle yes he still needs a bottle. i have tried a lot of things to get him off it but he's still young and we all need sleep so i give it to him. he passes out but wakes up and moves around a lot and doesn't wanna sleep there so he sleeps beside me. i wait a little then put him back in again, he wakes up. so i put him beside me and we sleep right away. i have put his crib bed down as low as it goes.

i just feel sad and alone but i know i;m not but i feel like crying sometimes..... i look at something like today i saw a picture of a sad girl and i cried.... dumb things. i just feel bad and dont feel good :(

Oh, that is not a very good friend to do that to you! Things are how they are, and if she was a true friend, she would see how much your family means to you! And the bottle thing....he'll kick it in time, just let him tell you when he's ready. It might be a comfort issue!!

Family is too important. I know it is hard to let friends down but it is even harder to let family down. You did the right thing.Symphony has the same problem with sleeping and bottle. I start her out in her crib for a few hours. She wakes up 1am -ish. I try patting and singing her back to sleep - sometimes works - sometimes not. Then she wakes again sometime between 2 and 4 am and I am so tired I give her a bottle and then take her to bed so we can both sleep till she wake up at 7:30am. I've tried so many things to get Symphony off the bottle (like all the brands of sippy cups, offering the same cup everytime, putting in different things), but she just loves her bottle. I'm just hoping she gives it up now by herself like she did the pacifier (at 12 months). But, I'll keep offering the sippy cups during the day. Oh yeah, she'll take a normal cup in a second flat if I offer it to her. Too bad she spills half of it. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that our kids are two peas in a pod!Love,Andi and Symphony

i am so sorry that you are stuck in a rut. about the bottle issue. try using the Nuby no handle, soft nipple sippy cups, and had a little apple juice or pedialite (i hate juice for babies) riley refused to take to the sippy and i used the same cup over and over until i put the pedialite in it....and he was hooked!!!
