If your child is sick and has some kinda eye infection stay HOME until well, Right???

I am soo pissed off. I came home christmas day which was Friday and i was still hurting and sore by Sunday Jan 27. but my hubby invited his best friend with his wife and their daughter who is 15 months old. So i guess whatever i said fine caz they wanted to see me. They came and they stayed for a 3 hrs, Eric played with her and they had fun and we just caught up. Then after they left after a while my hubby was saying how he's best friends daughter(who came and saw us) was sick and also had some kinda eye infection. i noticed her right eye was kinda puffy and red. Are you kidding me!?!?!? So i was pissed and told him that if he told me before i'd say they should wait to come over and i just got too and Eric can catch it pretty fast! hubby said nahh it's passed and Eric will be okay. Monday passed and then Tuesday Eric woke up to having his Left eye shut with crusty and a little white stuff and he's eye was puffy and red! OMG I flipped out! i was pissed and still am!!! I cleaned it with warm water, and kepted an eye on it. then wed came I woke up with Pink eye! Eric was with a runny nose and BOTH eyes shut with crusty and white stuff and red and puffy!!! OMG i took him to the Dr right away, they gave me drops for my eyes, and some cream for eric, said Eric has a bactiria virus, but it doesnt seem to work, i put it on 2 times a day for both naps caz thats just the easy way to do it. poor little guy, the puffyness has gone down but now it looks like he has a sunburn under his eyes. i pray this will go away :( it looks like it hurts him. i am taking him to our dr today they have an open clinic today at 5-7. i want them to look at his eyes. the white is white just the outside is not good :(

Thast bullshit! Honestly his friends should have known better and just stayed the F home until their little one was better!! Seriously kids catch things fast. Hubby told them and they said sorry and thought it had passed she got it friday morning ! are you kidding me 3 days and it passed??? noooooooooooo

So new years sucked, i was sore and sick, Eric was sick and his eyes were bad :( and still are, i understand it's only day 4 with cream but it doesnt seem to get any better, just looks worse :( ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh *sign*

I'm so sorry. That sucks! Some people are soo stupid sometimes. I hope they feel horrible they got your LO sick! That's ridiculous! I'd be super pissed too!!! I hope you guys are starting to feel a little better now

Yeah I don't get that either! I'm a considerate parent and if Isabella as much as has the sniffles, I keep her home! Her sniffles are usually because of teething but you never know! She's never had a cold or fever but if she did, she'd be home, not out spreading it around! My mil is the worst - she thinks because it's germs in the "family" - it's ok!!!! Anyway - I hope Eric is feeling better real soon!!!! Poor guy. Must be scary for him more than anything! I'm getting over something - got it Tuesday before NYE and still not right. A gastro-something - lol - started the NY off wrong so it can only get better!!!! Filakia! xox

Argh That is super frustrating!! I get so mad when Trent and I go to playgroup or something similar and someone brings their SICK kid... I want to yell at them "IF YOUR KID IS SNOTTY AND COUGHING AND MISERABLE JUST STAY THE F AT HOME!!" One of my biggest pet peeves! You have every right to be mad - I'd be fuming!! ((huggz)) Hope you feel better!! xo
