13-2-2010 - Daycare

My mood while writing this blog: Happy with it

Hello ladies,

Hope your all well and things are going well for you. I'm really missing Eddie a lot these last few days i mean i have been missing him the last 2 weeks it's just the last few days before he's to come home it just seems slower lol He's coming home Tuesday afternoon i can't wait!!! Eddie went Egypt for 2 weeks for his cousins wedding and seeing his parents again just in case. I didn't go caz i had Eric and work and daycare started for Eric this passed week, so i really didn't mind not going just really miss Eddie. it feels like a piece of me is gone seriously, like when you feel kinda empty your not full or like your missing your right arm. I will see Eddie on tuesday and i will be okay again.

Tuesday Feb 9th was Eric's first day at Daycare at peekaboo. I took the day off just to be around incase he was having a hard time, glad i did lol we arrived at peekaboo at 9am and he went straight to the other kids and started to play with the toys. i stayed back and watched and he seemed great. so i went into the office and they showed eric on cam so i can see his room i added that to my bill for the first 2 weeks just to see how he is doing. Eric seemed to be doing well. I ended up leaving around 10 am and i went to the mall close by got my nails done and walked aorund for a bit got lunch and went back to peekaboo at 12. I saw the kids in the hallway getting changed from being outside and eric was crying and crying and Julia was trying to calm him down and show him stuff but as soon as he saw me ohhh that was it lol he ran to me crying and kinda shakin but i calmed Eric down and we took his stuff off. went into the classroom he wouldn't let me go lol so i sat at the lunch table with Eric and they had meatballs and veggies for lunch. eric was sooo funny, anytime i made them he didn't eat them this time he had 5 pc! and then got out of his chair to go to the other kids tables and try to eat their meatballs! LOL ohhh Eric so they gave him more and he got a sippy cup but saw some of the other kids with no lids on so he didn't want it either and he drank his milk with no sippy lid and did great! already changing lol they said the kids did crafts and played in the gym and went outside. only thing that bothered Eric was switching from one thing to an other so fast i mean they took their time but eric likes to play until he's ready to be done lol but he's gotta learn their times and what actives they do. i took him home after lunch didnt look like he was gonna sleep anyway 12:30-2 is nap time. so we went back thursday had a good day cried again but he did better. thursday night eric and i made homemade cards for his friends in daycare and we painted them lots of fun we added a bubble bottle and a snack for the kids. friday the kids got brown paper bags and they got to paint and put hearts and stickers on the bags they got to keep them and then the teachers added the cards and snacks that the kids brought for each other. it brought tears to my eyes seeing what eric made, it was soo cool and neat to see how creative he is like me. i am sooooo proud of my sweet Eric !!! he goes for 3 days a week. Tuesday, thursday and friday.

Tonight we made 4 cards with paint and hearts and stickers. one for grandpa and grandma and one for uncle and one big one for daddy. i went to Ikea on monday and bought Eric a small kids table with 2 chairs. while we were painting he thought it was fun to paint the table and the chairs too lol so it's mixed of the wood and then white, pink, purple and red paint lol ohh well we had fun lol We're gonna give it to them tomorrow for V-day and eric will stay home and bake cookies and cake.
