Oh I am so upset. On top of having contractions all day yesterday, my hubby gets home from work and says he has to be at work (Army) on Saturday and Sunday Sep 13-14 which is the weekend of my baby shower back home 150 mile South AND he has training that starts that following Monday Sep 15 and lasts for 2 weeks, not one like we originally thought. Might I ad he will be at a small Camp out in the middle of nowhere several hours away from our house, I would have to send out a Red Cross message if I went into labor. That means he can not travel back down into town with me and by the time we get to spend any time together at all, I will be 1 day shy of week 38 ***sigh***

Good luck hon. Hope he is there for you when you need him. I found out a week after my fiance went back to Iraq that I was pregnant and he won't be back until the baby is 3 months old. I'm alone for the whole thing... :(

i know exactly how you feel.
i'm 32 weeks, and my fiance is in basic training. :(
i was told he could come for like four days, but
still, he will miss the birth. :( ugh, i don't like the army
right now. i know that sounds bad, but it's true.
i think if they're having a baby, they shouldnt have to go to training or camps or any of that, until awhile after the babies born, and even after that, they should be aloud to call.

=( aw. i couldnt imagine how hard that must be. just keep strong and remind yourself that the most important thing is having a healthy baby, try not to stress.
