My hubby was gone for the last week in training and he just got home yesterday evening. We were being "naughty" later and discovered a bunch of bright red blood. More would come out everytime I sat on the potty. So away my husband and daughter and I went to Labor and Delivery. I was hooked up to the fetal heart monitor and contraction monitor for about an hour and a half. When they finally came in, the did a sterile speculum check then checked my cervix-FINALLY a cervical check yay! I am 3 cm and 75% effaced. I was contraction irregularly. I also got a full blown ultra sound, yay! And had the head dr guy come in and check my cervix again. They said that at this point in pregnancy, \the cervix can be what they called "fried" so my hubby poked it and out came all the blood. Welcome home honey!
