Hmmm, we paid for everything for our wedding and it cost less than $7000!! that's rings and all!!! We did our own food - pulled pork sandwiches, chips, and salads, and cake of course..... and I bought my dress off of ebay - seriously if you found a dress you like, look for some on there!!! I also got my bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets and all the boutonnieres off of there too for a reasonable price. *Nobody cares about the food you serve, or how big the cake is, or how poofy your dress is, you don't have to make everything extravagant. We went plain and SIMPLE with everything. We focused more on the reception/party! We had an awesome time and so did our guests (over 300 people!). Everyone is still talking about how they had such a great time at our reception, and the reception hall had NEVER EVER served that much alcohol before our wedding! LOL!!!! Don't stress so much - it's not worth it.
