Here are some pictures I took by my house on Saturday. Just to give everyone an idea of what has happened over here. I understand Galveston, Houston and those surrounding areas got it alot worse but we live on the coast line over here in Louisiana and these pictures don't do justice...if I were to go more south, everything is under water and hundreds of people have lost their homes once again, it's awful. I'm so sick of hurricanes.

Was your house damaged at all? Thats just looks awful. Sorry you had to go through all that. My mom was in Katrina she lived in New Orleans.

OH my goodness thats scary! im glad you guys are ok though, i feel so horrible for the people who lost there homes and all there belongings ! wow its crazy how the world seems to fight us back for all the damage we do to it.
