09-2-2010 - Level 2 ultrasound worriedMy mood while writing this blog:
worried

Hi ladies, well as I may have previously said, they noticed fluid in the baby's kidney and are referring me to a Level 2 ultrasound. So I have to go to a hospital about 45 minutes away to the Genetics department to have them do this ultrasound. I heard this is fairly common at the 20 week ultrasound, especially with boys. My friend was told the same thing with her daughter, but everything was fine. Does anybody else have experience with this? Any info is appreciated.

hi! i went for a level 2 u/s with my son at 18 weeks when they found a white calcified spot on his heart and all is fine. he just turned 1 yesterday and he is very healthy. i was told that they frequently find little things on u/s that cause no problems to the baby at all and most of the time the things they find are outgrown by the time the baby is born. i hope everything goes well :)
