My baby girl turns one today! It just flew by. She says mama, dada, doggy, shoe, all done, baby, hi, Kenzie, Kylinn, no no no, and baba. She has been walking for 2 months now but that has actually turned to running. She has 4 teeth, but looks like a little vampire because she didn't get the top two central incisors yet…she has her top lateral incisors, so it looks hilarious. She loves taking her shoes and socks off and chewing on the velcro on her shoes so that mommy gets a slobbery surprise when I try to put them back on her, but she loves getting her socks put on her and she lifts her feet so I can do it, then as soon as I get close to putting it on her foot, she starts kicking like crazy and giggles. It is a big game for her, and it makes us both laugh. She just learned how to blow her nose and no longer turns her head away when she sees the Kleenex coming towards her face. When she wakes up and I pick her up from her crib, she lays her head on my shoulder and pats my back. I find it amazing how the smallest things make me happy and make me laugh. And I am looking at the clock and in exactly one minute, it will be 8:55am…the time my little girl came into this world one year ago today, bringing me and her daddy so much happiness!
