17-8-2009 - I was told something today...

My mood while writing this blog: Bloody Fantastic

So today, my friend rang me up and told me she is moving to Perth on Thursday! She lives up north (about a 20hour drive) and has recently broken up with her boyfriend of like 3 years, and she is moving to Perth. I am so excited, we have been friends ever since I was a baby, and ever since our friendship started we have been best friends and we had the best childhood when she lived a lot closer. So I am absolutely ecstatic about that, I haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face since she told me.

On another note, today is Tuesday, AF is due Friday, and I'm testing Thursday with FMU. I will let you all know the results, and the results will determine whether Michael and I go on a week's holiday around April next year. If I am pregnant, we aren't going in April; we will go earlier so that we aren't a half day drive away from our family so close to what could be my potential due date. If I'm not, we are going to put TTC off for possibly 12 months or so, due to the fact that my dad and I (and now Michael too) will be going on a 4-5 week holiday to Melbourne (driving over, taking about a week each way to sight see along the way and no night driving, and then about 2-3 weeks in Melbourne), and we don't want me almost ready to have a baby whilst a long way away from home. Once the dates for the trip to Melbourne are actually planned, we may start trying again a month or so before we go, depending on how things turn out, so that we won't have to worry about too much on the trip.

I am in a good place today. Genuinely happy with a positive outlook on my future. I don't want to boast too much about it, but I am just so ecstatic right now, it should be illegal. Ok, rant over, hope you ladies are all well.
