19-8-2009 - HPT Result....BF...

.....N, pretty much what I expected. The test I used says it can (under the right circumstances) be positive 6 days before your period is due, so I'm taking the test to be 99% accurate, but due to the fact that AF is due tomorrow, I still don't know for sure. I am content with the current result, due to what we have planned for next year and such. I will talk to Michael more about whether we will definately be putting TTC on hold for awhile when he gets home from work, and when we make a decision I will let you all know. However, should we choose to go ahead with putting it on hold, our method of contraception will be condoms, since I refuse to go on the pill (last time I did, about 5 years ago, I wound up with NO sex drive what so ever), I'm too chicken to get the depo shot, and don't want anything else. If the condoms fail and I end up preggo, well I will take it as a blessing since it seems to be kinda difficult for me to get preggo trying (18 months since my m/c, only been having unprotected sex); if I manage to get preggo whilst preventing then it'll be a miracle.

My friend is on her way to Perth as I type this, and I am hoping to catch up with her tomorrow some time, if I can't then I am making sure I see her on Sunday since I won't have to work at all on Sunday, we can catch up properly. I am so excited to see her. I know that once she is down, that super close bond we had as children will come back, and it will almost be like reliving our childhood again. She was born in 1989, I was born in 1990, but her birthday is 5 days after mine, so when we were young we celebrated our birthdays together every year until she moved up north about 10 years ago. We can start doing that again, and now that we're older it will be so much better.
