31-8-2009 - Update on the decision

Hello ladies, how are you all? Gee, the intro to my blogs is getting a little repetitive, isn't it? Anywho, I hope you are all doing well.

The decision is made - we're waiting until we're married (which will hopefully be in about 14-16 months from now) until we TTC again. Or at least within a month or two of when our wedding will be, once we decide on a date (mostly because I don't want to be pregnant when I go on my road trip with dad, nor do I want to be heavily pregnant when we get married).

There's a competition running at the moment over 4 weeks (it's in the second week now) to win a $40,000 wedding at the Burswood Entertainment Complex (which has a casino, 2 hotels, and a lot more), so I am putting in as many entries as possible to give myself the best chance at winning (although I highly doubt I will win, you never know). Should I win, we will get married probably very early next year, and the we'll TTC once I have been to Melbourne with my dad. Now that we've made those choices, I feel a lot better since I know what's going on.

Since we're putting TTC on hold for quite some time, we will only be having sex when Michael wears a condom (unless we have shower sex, which he usually doesn't 'get off' during cos it's too awkward), but I will still mark on my calendar when AF arrives, expected O day and put a small 'S' on the dates we have sex, just incase we change our minds at any time, or if we get caught up in the moment and a condom eludes us. Sorry if TMI, but it doesn't hurt to mark all that whilst not TTC, right? Plus if I don't mark when AF arrives, I completely forget what CD I'm on once a week or so has gone by, and I hate having to try to guess when AF is due because of forgotten dates.
