07-10-2009 - So I tested...

My mood while writing this blog:
Indescribable

...and I got a BFP!!! I peed in a cup before I started my shower and dipped the test in the cup after my shower. It said in the instructions that if you were dipping it to hold it in there for 20 seconds, well the pee started creeping through the windows when I got to 11 seconds and I just about dropped the test on the floor when it came up positive straight away. I am still in shock. Michael is ecstatic.

However I have yet to quit smoking, and since we aren't going to tell many people til I'm passed 12 weeks this time, I am going to cut down the amount of cigarettes I smoke a day til I have quit so no one gets suspiscious.

Like they all say, when you stop trying, that's when it happens. Omg, I'm doing my best not to get too excited, but it's hard.

I have guestimated my Due Date to be June 15th 2010, which is 10 days after my 20th birthday! That in itself is amazing - my mother had me 2 days after her 39th birthday, and my best friend (who is pretty much a year older than me) was born on June 10th.

I will update with more info soon, and I will post a picture of my BFP when I do the other test that came in the box.

awwwe im sooo happy to see you finally got your BFP! everytime i came to your blogs and i would see a BFN i would feel so sad...... but right now im just sooo thrilled for you. i'll pray that you and your baby have a safe and healthy pregnancy :)

Congrats on the BFP!! I pray you have a happy and healthy 9 months!! My husband and I have been TTC for 18 months and AF is due tomorrow! I had strong o pains so hopefully I will be joining you soon! Congrats again!!

wow this is just amazing congrads my dear !!!!!!!!!!!!Im sooooo happy for you guys!!!!And the fact your going to quit smoking is such a good thing for your baby!!!he or she will thank you later but the sooner you quit the better when I found out with my first son I just quit cold turkey the test being positive was enough drive for me to just quit right there and then!!!I wish to you a H&H 9 months.....
