14-10-2009 - Appointment went well

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

So my appointment went well, they did a HPT which showed positive, so that has settled my nerves a bit more. I broke down in the doctor's office cos when she took my blood pressure it was up a little bit and she asked me if I was stressed, so I told her I was just freaking out about how to tell my mum cos I know she'll have a go at me for getting pregnant again without having my rubella shot before hand. So I calmed down after that and she took my blood pressure again and it was fine so yeah.

I'm getting my blood work tomorrow, so I'm thinking about telling my dad and probably my mum tonight, I'm off to work in about half an hour. I want someone to come with me when I get the blood test cos I'll freak out.

My doctor said that she may send me for an ultrasound at around 8 weeks, but we'll talk about it more then. But other than that everything went great. I freaked out at myself when I broke down, I really don't know why I did. But I am ecstatic that my body is reacting a lot stronger to this pregnancy than the last one, it makes me feel good about everything.

I will update tomorrow after my blood work and I will let you know how telling my parents went. I hope my dad doesn't start work til 9 tomorrow so he can come with me, otherwise I will get my mum or Michael's mum to come with me to get that done.
