| 09-11-2009 - 9 weeks | My mood while writing this blog:exhausted |
Hey ladies, hope you are all well. Things with me are going well - I'm 9 weeks today, and that's now one milestone I have passed, since my last pregnancy failed at either 8w5d or 9w2d depending on how you calculate how far along I was. Still have the all day nausea, and I actually nearly thought I was going to puke earlier today, but thankfully I didn't.
I had almost an entire oven full of chickens fall on me at work today - I managed to save 8 chickens from falling to the ground. What happened was I brought the trolley we use to transport the cooked chickens to the warmer upto the oven, and as I pulled the rack of chickens onto the trolley, one of the trolley wheels gave way causing most of the chickens to fall to the floor - about 30 chickens had to go in the bin, there were 2 more that weren't mangled up from the fall that didn't touch the floor either, so all in all we saved 10 chickens from the incident. I was totally freaked out when it happened, it was actually quite scary, but I'm okay, most of everything landed on my foot and nothing else, so me and baby are fine. So we can't get the cooked chickens out of the oven the same way until we get the trolley either fixed or replaced, so that's going to slow things down a little at work, but we'll manage.
The second in charge in the deli (the section of the supermarket I work in) thinks I'm showing already - I told her I'm just fat anyways and that I wouldn't be showing yet, but she still things I am. Ugh, I'm not showing at all, and it will be a long time before I do. I can feel the changes when I'm feeling for them, but I've looked in the mirror and can't see any changes even though I can feel them. But something has me wondering - at 9 weeks, should I still be able to feel my cervix exactly the way I would if I were not pregnant? Because my cervix hasn't gone up any higher, doesn't feel tightly closed - the only difference I can feel to my cervix is that the top of it is a little wider, like it is very slowly getting higher. If this isn't normal, then I will mention it to my doctor when I have my next appointment, which I will actually need to make pretty soon.
Anywho, sorry for the long update.
What do you think - boy or girl? Find out on the 15th....
