24-12-2009 - 16 weeks - MERRY CHRISTMAS

My mood while writing this blog: HAPPPPPY!!!

First of all, MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone! It's almost 4pm here, and we're all about to go to my uncle's for Christmas dinner, yum.

Got some awesome presents today from Michael's family, and my mum got me some cool things too - dad's gonna get me something on Sunday probably. Everyone I gave presents too liked their presents, and my parents really liked their cards - I always get cards that say really nice things.

So I am exactly 16 weeks today, and I will take a 16 week belly photo this evening sometime and probably post it tomorrow night. Felt some more flutters today and heard the heartbeat - once I found the heartbeat I needed both my hands for something and just left my doppler resting on my belly and I could still hear the heartbeat loud and clear - this baby is clearly super healthy for me to be able to hear the heartbeat loud and clear with NO pressure what-so-ever. (I have an AngelSounds doppler if anyone was wondering). We have 3 weeks exactly until we find out the sex (hopefully anyways), I have my first midwife appointment in 4 days and my first obstetrician appointment in 12 days. It's all so exciting.

I am so in love with my unborn child, I can only imagine how much more love I'm going to have for bub once s/he is born, or even just once I can feel actual kicks. I can't wait!
