11-2-2010 - 23 weeks

My mood while writing this blog: Super happy!

So ladies, how are you all? Hope you are all doing well. Today is 23 weeks, and there has been some excitement this past week.

I've started to notice my belly move when little miss gives me a nice strong kick, and it's awesome. On Monday night though, Michael felt her kick for the first time, which was one of the best nights of my life so far. I'm so glad he's finally felt her, and now that he knows what to feel for he can do it whenever he wants rather than waiting for me to help him feel her. On Wednesday though, I swear she didn't rest at all! I was awake from about 6am til close to midnight, and she barely stopped kicking me throughout the day - I woke up to her kicks, and went to sleep with her kicking me - which was awesome.

And we have finally decided on a first name - Sophie. We couldn't agree on anything so I was like 'we'll both go through the name book and write down the ones we like, if we have anything the same then we'll pick that', and we both chose Sophie, Phoebe and Layla, but we couldn't agree on the spelling of Layla, it's also similar to my neice's name (Shayla), and Phoebe makes him think or Charmed (I can't stand that show but he loves it), so we agreed on Sophie. Now we just need to find a middle name we agree on.He wants Marie, I think we could change the name to Sophia-Jayde and then have Marie, so it would be Sophia-Jayde Marie, but he doesn't like that too much. Oh well we've still got a fair bit of time to sort that all out.
