03-3-2010 - Update : I had my Hospital Appt today

My mood while writing this blog: Slightly happy

I am back from the hospital, it went better than expected. My blood platelet levels are hovering around 80 and they aren't too concerned yet, they will only intervene if they fall below 50. I need to get blood tests every 2 weeks though, no fun! but I am really happy how well the hospital is looking after me and bubs.

So far so good, seems that if my levels stay around 80 through out my pregnancy then there is Zero cause for concern, i will have a normal birth. But if they fall to 50 or below then they will put me on medication and see if it helps, if it doesnt then they will give me platelet tranfusions. But from seeing my levels go from 130 down to 110 then to 80 in such a short space of time i was certain that my latest blood tests would be even lower, and they weren't! they are hovering around 80 and all i can so is hope they remain like this through out.

Yay I am 18w4d and my Ultrasound is in 2 weeks!! Can't wait to see the gorgeous baby kicking the crap out of me all day long hehe
