| 26-6-2008 - Growing pains | My mood while writing this blog:Relieved it\'s Friday! |
So I don't know about anyone else but do you go through periods that would feel like a growth spurt for you and baby?
I seem to get these at least once a month - the most recent one this past Tuesday/Wednesday. I felt incredibly bloated and had mild cramping and aching all over my belly. I definitely wasn't even hungry although I ate light so that my little one would get her nutrition. And then yesterday morning - nothing. Not even an inkling of the cramping/achiness that I had on Tuesday/Wednesday. Today, as I was getting dressed for work however, I did notice that my top is a wee bit tighter than normal - not only did the belly grow - but the boobs did too! Now I have to buy another maternity bra - there is no way this one will last me the next 16 weeks!!!
During this time, my little one is less active and it always concerns me - you know how reassuring it is to feel them moving around. But she made up for it yesterday. My doctor tells me during a "growth spurt" and at this stage, babies tend to sleep alot so that made sense in the end. Just like to feel her ever so often!!
I'd be interested to know who else experiences this! Have a great weekend all!!
