11-7-2008 - Exciting times...although time is passing

My mood while writing this blog: Happy - it\'s Friday!

Wow! I am going into the last week of my 2nd trimester on Monday! I cannot believe how fast time is passing - I'm excited to be starting my 3rd trimester but also a little sad knowing that it will all be over soon. Not that it doesn't mean that I'm not excited about having her here soon - I'm just going to miss having her all to myself and feeling her inside me. But I do look forward to seeing her sweet little face and holding her in my arms.

The other thing I can't believe - I slide into the double digits on the day countdown on Sunday! I will have 99 days left in my pregnancy! And the added faith that if she were to be born now for whatever reason - she has a good chance at surviving. All these milestones that we pass in our pregnancy's are amazing - my first milestone was seeing the heartbeat to making it into the 13th week to hearing the heartbeat...all the while watching as this little one grew. And when we found out that she was a she - there was a whole new attachment and more milestones ahead that we just had to get through!

They will never stop - the milestones - they will continue even once she is finally here. Her first smile, her first laugh, her first word, etc. I just don't want time to pass by as quickly as I know it will - I want to treasure every moment left in this pregnancy and to treasure every moment I have with her when she is here.

Enjoy ladies - it's such exciting times but it all goes by so quickly.
