07-10-2008 - 2nd last appointment!

My mood while writing this blog: Anxious, excited

We had our 2nd last appointment yesterday and the good news is, Isabella has dropped some and things are starting to happen in there! The internal exam this time around was much more uncomfortable but I'm just happy that she has dropped and things are starting to happen!

We will have our last appointment on Thursday morning and more than likely, check into the hospital on Saturday, October 11th. IF the doctor feels I can go further, she will let me go until the 14th - that is the last possible day however. But I am pretty confident we will be going on the 11th and hopefully holding our Isabella by the evening or on the 12th!

For once in my 9 months of pregnancy, my blood pressure was slightly elevated. Between finding this out and my doctor and her assistant asking me what is on my mind as I was looking stressed - that was making me stressed! I was feeling fine yesterday - nothing in particular on my mind other than the anxiousness and excitement of knowing Isabella will soon be here. But the more they kept questioning me - the more I started to feel stressed! I suppose I am tired as well since I wake up generally every 2 hours to go to the bathroom and usually by about 4am - I'm up for a good couple of hours! Sometimes I go back to bed at 6am for another couple of hours but there have been days when once I'm up at 4am - that's me for the day!

So I will see what my doctor has to say on Thursday and hopefully, be writing that I am definitely going in on the 11th! Wednesday is an exciting day for my husband and I as Isabella's furniture will FINALLY arrive! That is all we are waiting for - her curtains are finished and up and just an hour ago, we put her new light fixture up. Once we have everything in place tomorrow I will post some pictures.

Will be back with a final update (I hope) on Thursday or Friday!! Will potentially be a mix of emotions!!!
