17-3-2009 - 5 months later

Well, it has been a long time since I last wrote something! So I figured it was time for an update on Isabella!

She is now 5 months old which I cannot believe! She is turning over on her tummy like a professional - she started doing this early in the 4th month and perfected it by the end of the 4th month. She has been holding her head up on her own since the end of the 2nd/beginning of the 3rd month. And she started teething in the 2nd month. No teeth yet, but they are coming.

Isabella started smiling in the 2nd month and laughing in the 3rd month - my whole world lights up when she smiles and laughs. And just recently she has started turning towards me when I call her by her name. She's a beautiful little girl - the love of our lives!

We are Baptising her on May 24th. My parents will come from Canada for that - can't wait for them to finally meet her!! My mother is itching to get her hands on her! Isabella has successfully breastfed for 5 months too which I'm proud of and we will start her on cereals next week (w/o March 24th) which is also exciting!

She sleeps with me still but I don't mind. I miss my hubby however! He has been sleeping on the couch the last 4 months! The first month she slept in her portable bed but in the 2nd month - she didn't want anything to do with it anymore and would only sleep beside me. I am slowly trying to get her into her own crib and think it might be more easier once she starts feeling fuller with cereals. Right now, she is still waking up every 2 hours to eat - I went through 2 months of her waking up every 1 hour which was hell for me but we got through it. She's so worth it!

I will post more pictures of her - they take so long to load here it frustrates me!! I can't take enough pictures of her - I am crazy about this little girl!!!

Edit: I forgot to add - she was 3.4 kg and 50 cm when she was born - she is now 5.9 kg and 66 cm!
