29-9-2008 - My 35 week \'show\'

My mood while writing this blog:
Nervous, excited

Yesterday I noticed blood after I had wiped and I freaked out and called the midwifes at the hospital. They told me to come in at 2pm (unless something happens first like contractions or water breaks).... so at 6pm I had an internal and I had a 'show' and they said that they noticed my waters trickle when they did it. Until then I really underestimated what was happening in my body, soon I was going to have a little person to care for, love, protect, marvel, appreciate as he grows a little personality of his very own. Hes going to be different to anybody else in this world, a little bit of steve and I but his own amazing person. And he is going to be here soon. He already learns, feels, remembers and recognises my voice, and his first cries are going to be in the pitches of my vocal cords, how amazing is that. All this has happened in my body and I had nothing to do with it really. I feel how he moves and dances when I have eaten something, or when the music is fast or busy and I get the symptoms of heaviness and pressure. But apart from that all this happens beyond and above me. I have to wait now for contractions, water to break, to dialate and that could happen tomorrow or 4 weeks away yet!
