22-4-2009 - TTC

My mood while writing this blog:
excited/nervous

It has been a fantasic 170 days (5 months and 3 weeks) and we love being parents to our little boy. He has unveiled love we never thought existed. When he laughs I cry, when I cry he laughs (a perfect balance, at least he has a sense of humour). My husband has been asking when our next is to be (he wants a buba NOW).... do we wait and have a bub AFTER thye terrible 2's, or do we give our little man a brother before he knows life without one?

Big decision. Go with your gut feeling. I always say it's great to have kids close in age coz they'll stay close. With my two older girls the age gap of 2 3/4 yrs sometimes seems more like 10 years and sometimes like they are almost the same age, depending on the phase they go thru. Has its pros and cons. I think I couldn't have handled two kids very close in age when they were little, but I also had a VERY demanding first child. I think that has a lot to do with how willing you are to get a second one so soon. Go for it if you feel ready, and have a husband who's just as ready too! Great stuff!!!

If you both feel that you are ready to be parents again then I say go for it. He will love having a little brother or sister. I want to try for another one but my partner feels differently :( Good Luck :D

If you both feel ready then why wait? Some say it's good to have them closer together as they both keep eachother entertained and have a closer bond. Do what your heart tells you to do. I would have another one in a second, but I am getting married this year and need to be able to fit into my dress lol xxx
