03-3-2009 - Doctor's appt

Sometimes I wonder why I bother trying. I am so upset with the way today went. My appt was at 10 I was going to try to get on Clomid. Well I had to see the PA because my dr was booked for awhile. So I was told to undress from the waist down. Umm ok? And I asked the nurse what the results of my PAP SMEAR was in January and she said hold because she was on another screen in the computer. Then she asked what meds I was taking. I told her prenatal vitamins and prednisone (for my lupus). She ased if I was on anything to prevent pregnancy I said no she asked did I want to be put on anything?? I said no and gave her a weird look. She asked if I was ttc and I said yes. ( why would I be taking prenatals if I was avoiding pregnancy?? I mean I know it is a good multivitamin but really??) Anyways, then the PA came in and she did another pap smear on me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just had 1 not even 2 months ago and the lady never told me the results! So I was asking the PA about Clomid and she said that I need to talk to my dr about it.... UMMM WHY DID I JUST PAY $30.00 TO SEE HER THEN?????? She sent me to have blood work done to make sure I am not pregnant and check my thyroid and check for diabetes. (which is stuff my other doctors check) So pretty much I wasted a whole day and am in the same boat. This sucks!!! Sorry I just had to rant :( baby dust to all :)
