15-10-2008 - My pregnancy!!!!

This is for anyone who's interested.....Me and my love have been together for almost 3 years already and we are also engaged and we're going to get married on January 9, 2009 but we got an unexpected surprise..... i found out i was pregnant on July 20th and it was truly the biggest surprise ever the next day just to be sure i went to a free pregnancy clinic to really find out since i didn't believe it and once again they said i was pregnant. Well they asked me when my last period was so they could approximately figure out my due date which should've been February 14, 2009 since my last period was on May 10th but when i went to my first doctor's appt. they tried to find the heartbeat which they should have been able to because i should've been about 10 weeks and some days. But the doctor couldn't find the heartbeat so she did an ultrasound just to show me everything was okay and when she did it was showing only 5 wks 6 days i seriously freaked out. She told me either i miscalculated my last period (which i knew for a fact i never started in June) or the baby had stopped growing at 5 wks and i would miscarry soon or they would do a DNC. So as you could imagine i was so scared. Well a few days later they called me back in to take more blood from me and see if my Hcg levels had doubled or tripled which they should've by then, and two days later they called me and told me they had more tripled so everything must be good and they set up my next appt. well let's just say from then on everything was okay and then at 13 wks i started spotting which was just a UTI i was once again sooo relieved. So i went to my appt. on October 3rd and we heard the heartbeat for the first time it was 145bpm i was sooo happy. While i was there i asked her when we would be able to find out the sex (which man i want to sooo bad already) and she told me not at my next appt which is Nov. 7th(i'll be 22 wks) but at my appt. after that which will be on Dec. 3rd( i'll be 24 wks) now isn't that ridiculous??? so anyway we booked a private appt. which we have to pay for to find out the sex at 18 wks and that's on Oct. 24th just about a week away so we're both very excited and sooo anxiously awaiting the day.....we really want a girl but would still be sooo happy to have a baby boy..... so i'lll update again when we find out the sex ughh i can't wait!!!!
