05-1-2009 - Just Have to get this out.....I\'ve Lost the fight against STRETCH MARKS:(

My mood while writing this blog:
Unhappy with my body:(

Well ladies i have to finally admit it i've now lost the fight against stretch marks:( i've been putting on all kinds of cocoa butter, olive oil and everything else you could possibly think of but it's over...i mean i definately am still using them it helps with all this horrible itching(which i try my best not to itch but it really gets to me). i've got one small stretch mark above my belly button where my belly ring used to be and i'm getting some on my sides and tummy now which really makes me feel sooo ugly:(

My fiance tells me i'm beautiful no matter what and i know it's all for my baby girl which she is DEFINATELY worth EVERYTHING. But you know how it is i just feel horrible since i definately didn't look like this before and i'm really hoping that i can at least get back into shape after i have our little princess.

I went to the dr. today and i've only gained 16 lbs which to me seems like alot but i guess i'm doing good so i guess its more about how my little laila is growing sooo quickly instead of the weight i've gained. I don't know i'm just hoping my UGLY stretch marks don't get tooo horrible but i know once you lose the battle it all goes downhill from there so i just needed to vent a little bit.

I really hope all you ladies and your little one's are doing great!!!

dont feel bad im pretty sure almost everyone loses this battle at some point i have a ton now and ive been using everything thing on them too but they'll eventually fade =]

still use your coco butter and stuff ,cause they will lighten up faster, a friend from work got stretch marks after she had her baby and then they went away( her's wasnt dark they were light when she first got them) so there is a chance that they will probably lighten enough that no one will ever notice, and dont scratch , that's what causes stretch marks!!!!!!!!! RUB RUB RUB

Oh hunny, don't worry about it!! I cried too the first time I noticed mine, but you get over it quickly. What you need to do is look at your belly in the mirror and just tell youself how beautiful your belly is and that you have earned each and every one of those beauty marks you have, wear them proud as a badge of honor....I still do with mine!! And they do lighten up after she is out of there....really, it's no big deal!!

omg do i understand where you are coming from..i started getting my stretch marks at week 11 and now i have 14 marks on my belly and im only 16 weeks..im just hoping they dont attack my boobs next lol

well you saw my pics of my stretchmarks..which the pics didnt really do them justice cause the flash made them look much lighter than they are...but at least your man still tells you he thinks your pretty..mine hasnt said anything close to that since before i was pregnant :( all he does ia make fun of me and make faces at my belly and my butt..stupid boys!! lol!! i know he still loves me, but i also know that it is very hard for him to see my body go through these changes..its hard for me too!!!
