21-3-2009 - 39 weeks update....very disappointed!!!

My mood while writing this blog: disappointed and sad:(

Okay just a little update for those who don't know well.....i'm now 39 weeks 1 day prego and i've been dialated to 3-4 cms since i was 37.5 weeks its just very frustrating because i can now say i have literally tried EVERYTHING to induce my labor && still NOTHING ughh.....i've tried walking, accupressure, sex, castor oil, nipple stimulation, relaxation, foot && back massage, and now i'm finally going to try some of the teas i see mentioned on here to "supposibly" start contractions. Well i'll let you all know how that goes but to start off i had my 39 wk doctors appt. yesterday @ 10:30 a.m. well i was sooo nervous and excited because she told me at my 38 week appt. that we would talk about inducing me this weekend or monday well....to make a long story short.....she wasn't there....so i only got to do my NST and that was the only thing that was even good was finding out my baby girl is perfectly healthy in there. but i was sooo freaking disappointed that i didn't even get to talk to her about it like we were supposed to. Oh yeah and to top it all off they made my next appt. for APRIL 1ST....wtf seriously i'll be almost a week OVERDUE....so i don't even get a chance to talk to her about inducment this week so i NOW know for a fact i'm going to go overdue and man oh man i'm sooo not prepared for this ughhhhh.

Welll about the castor oil i know most of you are wondering what happened well.....i took 2 tbsp. at about 5:00 yesterday and i had NOTHING none of the bad symptoms i've heard about just NOTHING. I did get some painful contractions but....they went away sooo it was nothing well so i took 2 more tbsp. at midnight last night and STILL NOTHING....so yeah it doesn't work for EVERYONE and i guess i'm definately one of the lucky ones to not get sick or diarrhea like some women do. So i'm definately VERY thankful for that. And i won't try it again cus if it were going to work it would have worked. so now i'm going to try some chamomile tea(manzanilla tea) and see what happens.

Well i hope some of those things work for you ladies if you try them...and CONGRATS to all of the new mommies!!!
