04-5-2009 - Almost 6 weeks pp Update!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Happy && Blessed

hey ladies okay sorry it took me soo long but finally here's my update.....well Laila is great she is 1 month old already time really does fly by too fast....at birth she weighed 7lbs. 1oz. and at her 2 week appt. she had already gained to 8lbs. 13 oz. now.....i had to take her to the dr. the other day cus i thought she had a rash (turned out to be a dry skin rash....doc said it's normal) well i asked for them to weigh her and she's already 11 lbs. i was like WOW she is such a little fat girl haha she eats 5 oz every 3 hrs. sooo reallly i shouldn't have been surprised haha....she is also holding her head up really good even though she hates tummy time i still try to give her it as many times a day as possible i also put her on her play gym which she loves:) and we listen to classical music she loves it for some reason....now she also stays awake alot during the day....and i've got her on somewhat of a schedule.....she wakes up at 12 (to stay awake) and i feed her and she has tummy time....she stays awake and we listen to some classicall music until her next feeding at 3 or 4 then she sleeps till about 6 or 7.....i feed her again and she plays on her playgym for a while then she goes back to sleep till 9 or 10 eats, takes a bath then i put her in her swing...she goes to sleep about 11...so do i...and doesn't wake up till to eat till....3, 6, 9, then 12 and we start all over haha she goes right back to sleep at night she's a really good baby!!! She's everything to me and she more perfect than i could have imagined.....she's my life.....and complete's our perfect little family:)

Okay now about me i got over my whole baby blues thing like 2 week pp and i've been great ever since....i got used to my now HUSBAND(i'll get to that in a minute haha) working all the time it truly does get easier over time....Welll i'm almost 6 weeks pp i will be on thursday and i'm down 17lbs.....i still have 10 to go though i gained from 150 to 177 during pregnancy so yeah but i still have lots of toning to do and my stretchies ughh they look horrible but i they could be worse so overall i'm very happy with the way my body is going back to normal.....O i had my 6 week pp dr. appt. today and i'm COMPLETELY HEALED and cleared for take off haha....it didn't even hurt during the check-up i thought it would you know when she sticks that metal thing in you but nope no pain AT ALL i was soo happy cus i was and kinda still am scared about having sex again....i also didn't rip and only had 3 very small tears during delivery so they healed on their own NO STITCHES yay.....well i can't get my Mirena till 8 weeks pp in two more weeks so my doc gave me a very small dose of the depo shot just for protection you know haha just to get me to May 26th which is my next appt. and when i get my mirena put in so once i do have sex i will tell you all how it feels cus i know some of you are wondering just like i am haha so on Wednesday i will have sex i have to wait 24-48 hours to make sure the depo is actually working and i'm not taking any risks haha....don't get me wrong i love my babygirl and i loved the pregnancy experience but i don't want another one for at the LEAST 3 years but more than likely 5 years. Welll i have started working out last Thursday but only every other day i don't want to start off doing too much you know....well now i'm sore and it feels GREAT ahah so that's my update hope you enjoyed all that blabbering haha....o YEAH i got married on April 24th to the love of my life of 3 years almost 3 and a half years...we didn't have a big wedding just a court ceremony but we will have our BIG church wedding in a few years i'm just happy to be married to the best man i have ever met:) those are hard to find these days you know haha well now i'm going ladies ttyl!!!!
