05-6-2009 - Laila\'s 2 month check-up!!!

My mood while writing this blog:
GREAT!!!

Well Laila had her 2 month check-up yesterday and she now weighs 13lbs. 15 oz. and is 23 1/2 inches long she's growing great for her age as her dr. said!!! She also had to have her shots UGHHH i stayed in the room i couldn't bare to leave her....but i made hubby hold her haha....she got 3 shots 1 in her left and 2 in her right....and the oral vaccine....she handled them VERY VERY well she cried for like 10 seconds then stopped when i picked her up:) i had given her .4mL of tylenol b4 hand and it had hit her by the time she got them....

After she got them she ate in the car dozed off for like 10 mins then woke up all happy and smiling....she slept most of the day yesterday but when she did wake up she was fussy and acting normal....so i worried for nothing haha silly me....well she slept from 10:30 last night till 6:00 this morning and i just got her up at 8:30 to get her dressed since we're going to take family pics at 12 and she is really fussy for some reason:( she ususally ALWAYS wakes up super happy and in a good mood!!! is this normal???

wow she handled the shots so much better than tyler did! he screamed from exactly 10:45 to 11:20 when he finally fell asleep. he slept most of that day and the next. kudos! you have a brave lil girl :)

Glad to hear her shots went well. It's a shame she's fussy when you're having pictures done, I hope she gets better for that!

Hey even with my lil one same thing happened,she had her 2 month check up on Tuesday,& the same shots were given to her as well,she cried for few minutes,& then she was ok,she ate,& slept,but yesterday & today that is 2 days after the shots,she is so fussy,which is pretty surprising,coz otherwise she is a happy child,she is not sleeping properly,she is sleeping for like 10 minutes,& then she get up crying so loud,that I am feeling scared,I don't know what to do?

See... not as bas as we expected huh lol... Id say its normal that she is fussy though - her little legs probably still hurt a bit! I'd give her some tylonel..but that might make her sleepy if your going to get pictures!! Be sure to post them on here when u get them :-)
