09-3-2009 - Am I Being Rude??

My mood while writing this blog:
Thinking

Ok, My supervisor called me on Friday and told me that they are going to have a baby shower for me on the 16th of this month at the job, So at first I was cool about the lil gathering for me a my gummy bear. But then she said and yeah we are going to combine you and another girls together Im not mad they they are going to combine, " catch is the other girl is having twins" So Im thinking how fair is that going to be?? I know buying for 3 babies is kinda too much so I feel as though im going to get the worng end of the stick. Or maybe both of us will. Now should I shut up and be thankful that they thought about me??? Or should I feel some type of way???

It is the thought that counts and they are trying to do a nice things so just go witht he flow It could always be worse they could have forgotten all about you.

You shouldn't feel some type of way. People know how it is having a baby. I know the economy is bad right now, but something is damn sure better than nothing. Be thankful that people at you job care enough to give you a shower. It's the thought that matters.

honey I would say be grateful because a lot of women don't even get to have a baby shower at all, and at least you are getting one so what ever you get will be a big help to you and your gummy I can understand how you are feeling about it all, but something is better than nothing and at least they thought about you

well just be grateful for what you end up getting. its not a must they throw you a shower but the fact that they are is good enough a gesture. just enjoy the day.
