08-5-2008 - She\'s getting bigger

Layla weighs 10 lbs 10 oz yesterday at our local hospital where there are baby classes held. I love that they have a scale available each week to keep track of her weight gain. She has gained 9 oz since last week which is on the low side for her. The last couple weeks she has gained about 12 oz each week. She is getting so big and filling out nicely. She is awake a lot more and the smiles have truely come out. I love to see her smile and it makes me cry sometimes to know that she is my daughter and she loves me like I love her. She fits into mostly 0-3 mo outfits now and getting cuter everyday. She is in size 1 diapers but I am sure that is going to change very soon.
