26-4-2008 - Wifey appt

My mood while writing this blog: what to do what to do??

sooo.... todays wifey appt was as always .. something to be desired LOL. My appt was 1130.. I got there at 1115. they checked me in as normal...now that I think about it.. they checked me in kinda quick. I did the norm.. weight, blood pressure, pee in the cup thing... OMG it was hard peeing in the cup.. its not like I can see to aim right!... anywho... I'm then told that they cant put me in a room yet, because the dr is delivering a baby and noone knows how long that will take. Come to find out.. the drs AND the midwives are delivering babies! da heezy!

My wait at that point is about an hour and some change.. I finally see a midwife and she goes thru the questions, do u have a carseat? picked out a pediatrician? feeling any contractions? braxton hicks? anywho.. thats the end of that . THEN she asks how I delivered my previous 2.. early? on time? late? unfort I was lucky enuff to deliver BOTH of my kids late.. so she suggested 'pregnancy tea' 3xs a day AND 'Primrose Oil' capsules.. she said I should put pinholes in and insert vaginally. hmmmmm... I'm thinking about that. It kinda threw me off because some women have said that the oil was a bad thing, some have said otherwise, BUT my wifey suggested it. she says it will soften the cervix ...HMMMMMM WHAT TO DO, WHAT TO DO? I dunno ladies... I'm still thinking I should just leave her alone and let her come when she decides to come yanno. I guess if I go to the health food store this weekend... we'll know what I decided to do :o)
