| 26-9-2008 - after 2yrs 9mths - BFP!!! | My mood while writing this blog:can\'t believe my eyes |
Oh my god the title of this says it all!!!
A long 2 years and 9 months of TTC and just had first cycle of clomid - of which the doctor messed the perscription up and I only had 4 tablets instead of 5.
AND NOW A BFP. Hey what a great birthday present for me, i'm 32 on monday!!!!
I don't know why i decided to test today when i got home - i just looked down and saw I had 2 tests left from a pack i got of the internet. The ones where you wee in a cup. Well I thought that they didn't work but decided what the hell its CD28 of an average 26. (has been 24-32) I just expected to see 1 line as usual. Anyway no sooner had I laid it on the floor to sort myself out did i see another line. I dissmissed it at first thought it must be the light but by the time I'd flushed the loo there it was two pink lines!!!
I showed my DH who couldn't believe his eyes - his comment "well the swimmers - swam!"
It kind of makes all the hassel and tears of yesterday and trying to get my next perscription for clomid from the hospital a little insignificant. Anyway I've been and bought clear blue digital now to test again in the morning - would just like to see the word 'pregnant' before it sinks in.
Come to think of it - my ovulation pains weren't as long or painful this month (on clomid), I had 1 very small lot of brown when wiped on Tuesday, been shattered wed and thurs afternoon - so much so that i've had a nap in the afternoon, my skin has been clearer this month as i usually get a breakout few days before AF.
Anyway - BFP for me, keep your fingers crossed everything goes ok. It will only sink in when the doctor says it to me i think. I'll ring and make an appointment monday.
Sticky baby dust to everyone else.
