I got my first and only UTI so far around about 13 weeks and it hurt so bad for me..It started off real slow just light pain around about 6 that evening and by 2 am that night I was crying begging my husband to take me to the hospital and by 7 that morniing when I finally got to see the doctor I thought I was dying...I never really had pain while trying urinate..Just had to go more often and pain in my right side and in my back..they said I caught it pretty early and it hadn't gotten that bad..but I couldn't possibly imagine how it could hurt more..I am not forsure why mine hurt so bad..

Hey i had posted the same thing in Week 18 I believe. I had a uti that had no symptoms and got progressivly worse to a Kidney infection. i spent 3 days in the hospital! The dr said its VERY common to not get symptoms because of the hormones in your body right now. I have to be on antibiotics for the rest of my pregnancy. :( but on the up and up they said all is well with our little boy!

wow i didnt realise it was so common not to get symptoms! ive been put on antibiotics, cant remeber the name but the pains aent too bad today. tanks for all ue comments girls. btw does 136 pbm seem ok to u? its just its always been at least in the 150s???

its seems when I get a uti while pregnant i dont get the signs. When i'm not pregnant, I get the burn and going just a bit ALL the time.

hithe first time i saw my midwife she told me i had a UTI and i had no syptoms at all!!! glad all is well x

Im 19 weeks pregnant today, almost half way through and in this past week..man am i feeling it! ive had a great pregnancy overall, cant complain too much. but this past week ive been in soo much pain. strated with lower pain on my left hand side, like ligament pain. it was really tender but i just put it down to muscle pain. Anyway its greadually got worse and worse so went to hosp quite worried but its just a UTI so im on the mend with anti biotics. I got to hear babys heart beat again though :) it was 136bpm which is quite a bit less than before but she said it was perfect :)
Just to let you all know, i thought with a UTI it hurt to pass urine and u needed to go all the time but apart from these rele sharp pains i had no symptoms. Just shows u..
One week and 3 days until we know if we're team pink or blue. But i KNOW its a boy!! xxx
