| 01-3-2009 - Feeling a little worse for wear | My mood while writing this blog:Tired |
So girls, at six weeks two days, I'm feeling incredibly nauseous and oh so pregnant. This is a good thing as I did have some bleeding last week. DH was devastated and thought I'd lost the baby, and whilst the possibility crossed my mind, the bleeding didn't last long, it wasn't a lot and it wasn't painful, so I told him not to stress and I'd make a doctors appointment soon. I think he's since calmed down, and I'm going to see how I go this week, if everything seems fine, I'll make an appointment for Saturday week as planned. I should be at least 8 weeks by then.
DS hasn't been sleeping well the last couple of nights, he's been coming down with the flu, which equates to him waking up 3 or 4 times in the night. I feel horrible for him because he struggles to breathe properly when he's all stuffy, and he's got a cranky sleep deprived mother to wake up to ... how horrible!! He has been covered in baby vicks for the last 24 hours to help clear the sinuses, so hopefully tonight we can all sleep well. Lord knows I'm craving sleep ... and custard. Oh I love custard when I'm pregnant. The best ever treatment for heartburn, I kid you not!!
Okay, so when I tell you this last piece of news, I know some of you may be a little sceptical (as am I), but I had another dream. Yes, I know this story is getting old, and I'm not as certain about this one as the last one, but I had a dream last night that we were having twins. DH has been joking about the possibility for the last couple of weeks (which is not so funny anymore). There is a history of twins in his side of the family, but not in mine, so I don't know what the liklihood is, and I guess there's nothing I can do but wait and see, so lets hope my first doctors appointment shows exactly what's going on in there. Because if it's true (and like I said, I am a little sceptical), I'm going to have a lot of re-organizing to do around this house!!
