16-7-2009 - Little Lilly

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Well, Lilly went to her 1 month appt yesterday, and she went from 6 pounds 6 ounces to 8 pounds 11 ounces...and that was after a big poop right before being weighed, and she grew an inch and a half.

Update on feedings-Well, I'm still pumping, but honestly only like once or twice a day, enough to keep my milk coming in, but she's primarily formula feed, It's exhausting to feed her with the bottle, then go to pump at night...I was getting NO sleep, and no help from the man friend. I felt bad, but you know what? It'll be okay, she's still getting one bottle of breast milk a day.

And as for the man situation, oh god...well, as you know he relapsed 5 days after she was born, and just did again...I've been sleeping on the couch for the last month..which honestly has been a good experience for me, it's rght next to the kitchen, and the bathroom...and I have her bassinet down there...and ZERO drama. The man was putting the pillow over his head whenever she would cry..and sigh when it would happen...I didn't need that stress. Because I tottaly believe babys can sense that you're upset...I was upset yesteday and she was the fussiest baby I had ever met yesterday.

I'm too tired to make any sense. I'm devoting today to napping.
