22-3-2009 - Just Great

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Well a few weeks ago I had my glucose test and I failed, so I had to go back and have the two hours glucose test and well I failed that one as well. So I now have gestational diabetes. I was put onto a low or no carb diet, I'm supposed to keep my glucose down to 5.0 before brekky and then under 6.7 two hours after I have eaten Brekky, Lunch and Dinner. I had my doctors appointment last Wednesday and my blood sugars arnt low enough and im not producing any insulin over night so I have now been put on Insulin when I eat dinner and before I go to bed. The upside is I get to have frequent ultrasounds so I can see my little boy and may be induced at around 38 weeks depending on how big he gets and any other complications that may happen.
