28-8-2009 - BABY BOY

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Today was a longgg but exciting day. We went for our ultrasound and told the lady not to tell us the sex and instead put it in an envelope. The baby was super hyper in the using me like it was a gym lols. He stretched out his back arching it as much as he could and doing a bunch of diffrent hand gestures. Doctor told me I have been visiting the porceline gods alot cause of his activity in there lols. His heart rate was 154 and he is healthy as can be.

After that we went out for lunch. We choose to go to Old Chicago (italian). After our main meal we gave our waiter the evelope that has the babies sex in it. The deal was if it was a girl to bring us a strawberry cheese cake, if it was a boy a turtle cheese cake. He went over to the manager first which was kinda funny and then a few minutes later returned with our cake. They even wrote BOY on the plate in chocolate sauce. Not only that the manager came and talked to us and gave us the cake for free :D He said his wife is prego as well and the idea I had was great! So I gave him one more just to give him another option. The waiter was giddy even up to the time we went to leave. I dont think he will forget this day. We gave him a big tip and also I wrote on the receipt " Thanks for sharing our special day with us :D" I bet it will be a story for him to tell for a long time.

From there we went to lawrence for a huge baby consignment sale. We picked out a bunch of baby outfits including some cute little booties that say " Thank heaven for little boys". Finally I am home and exhausted, its 4 pm and I want to go to bed already hehe.

Kayden will be thrilled that he got his wish for a baby brother <3

Babies name is Xander Lee Jewell
