Ok


Got my results back from my GD blood test today (Gestational diabetes). Found out I am anemic so I need to take iron pills and also my red cell count is 152 and should be under 140 so they are making me come back this friday morning to do a 4 hour test with 4 seperate blood tests to see if I need to be sent to a diabetes center etc. Sigh I am thinking I am at an all time low and really just need to crawl in a corner.

I failed my first glucose test and have to have the 3 hour test on saturday....guess I will be on a sugar free fast thurs/fri to try to pass this one!! Good luck on yours!

3rd - Monday, 9 Nov
and to think, you wanted to refuse this test! I'm aneamic - you'll notice SUCH a change once the iron supplements do their thing, LOTS more energy - even if you feel ok to begin with.. Good luck with further GD testing, hopefully it'll come to nothing :]
