17-10-2008 - breech

My mood while writing this blog:
ok

ok so i wanted to bring this up and hear some different opinions and experiences others have had....

so when i went to the doctor this past saturday and had an ultrasound, they mentioned that every ultrasound i have had he has been in the same exact position and it makes them feel i may have a breech baby...

he ALWAYS has his butt on my bladder and his head right under my boobs and facing my back....

im just CURIOUS to know what you all think.....do you think he is just comfortable and maybe will turn and move LATER or stubborn and is going to just stay that way because thats how he likes it!!!?? LOL

i know obviously there is no way to tell for sure what is going to happen in the long run as far as birth and everything, but i do know there are opinions out there!! i mean, why would the doctor tell me "it seems he may be a breech baby" if he didnt think that?? i just dont see how he can tell?? you never know when their gonna move!! he could flip into position the night before i go into labor for all we know!!!

has anyone else experienced this? and if not what do yall think?? there are no right or wrong answers im just curious :)

do you feel him rolling around in there? my son was breech up until 33 weeks and they never were worried about it for me! i felt him moving around all the time and could tell when it was his hands or feet in my ribs so i knew that he had room to roll!! i think if you can feel him moving and turning you should be fine! they know when its getting close to comin out so they move for ya! i wouldnt worry to much about it! also some dr. turn baby for you if your dr. is trained to do that! good luck!

Well I really have no wise words. However my daughter is breech, but I was told by the doctor since, I am still early there's a chance she will turn around, and I pray everyday that she does..LOL I tell my baby's father the reason, she is breech because she's trying to kick him out of her home...so I joke about it! But like everyone has said you're still early there's a lot of room for him to move around.

There is still a lot of time for him to move. Mine was breech (transverse position) up until about the 29th week. I've been told that they can turn up until the 36th week. After that then they may try and manually turn the baby or plan a casarean. I wouldn't worry though like I said...your still early:)
