16-12-2008 - doctors appointment yesterday and my contractions last night!!

My mood while writing this blog: good

So I had my doctors appointment yesterday. 35 weeks now YAY!!

well, everything was good, hes nice and healthy and BIG!! I have no clue what Im going to do if i carry him full term because he is already 6 and half pounds! hes so cute, I got to have a quick ultrasound because she was trying to feel his postition and he was too balled up so she gave me one just to make sure he was already in position for us which he WAS :) thank goodness because he has been a pretty stubborn baby the whole time up until now about staying breech and NOT movnig!! lol but hes good and healthy and a BIG boy!!

ok and about my contraction experience.....so this is the very first time ive had one....and i KNOW thats what it was because it was everything (and more) of what i have heard its going to be....i was dead asleep and literally JUMPED out of bed by it and just stood there saying "OUCH" until it quit...it lasted about maybe a couple seconds or something i dont know and it was very painful...i actually felt tightening and it felt like the worst cramp ive ever had in my life..poor steven woke up as soon as i did because i said ouch so loud and JUMPED out of bed....i was so scared because when it happened it hit me that hey this could be it! thank the lord it wasnt becasue it made me realize how surreal all this is and i dont know if im quite ready yet!! im so nervous now!!! and if that was just one little one i cant imagine what their gonna feel like when i actually go into labor! no wonder people get the epidural, i cant imagine feeling that every few minutes!!!

so my doctors appointment went good, and i had my first contractions!

its getting so close!!!
