Some people can slowly go into labor (such as myself) and others can have NO signs then wake up in labor. I myself have been dialted to 2cm for a week and now Im a 3cm. So I may have that type if body that gradually goes into labor...But dont be sad....Im sure your day is right around the corner...too bad you cant tell the future:) So you can be prepared!

I just woke up in labor. I had a painful contraction that woke me up and then the next came and got me out of bed... I thought they were painful enough to start timing so I did. Then I lost my mucus plug. I never did have consistency to my contractions. They just got closer together and more painful.
99% of the time, pain is how you can tell. I know people say "you'll know' and truley you will. The pain and discomfort you are having now are nothing compared to contractions. Not to scare you, but they really make you stop whatever you are doing to concentrate on the pain and breathing.
It's all a guessing game. So many women come and go into the hospital with false labor. I wish you luck!!! It really is any time now and try to think of some last minute things to do before baby gets here to occupy your time. =)

I feel like I am showing absolutely NO signs of him coming anytime soon! when you go into labor is it somehting that just HAPPENS or can you tell its coming by it building up or what??? what should I be watching and waiting for??? other than some Braxton Hicks and hips hurting real bad I dont think Im showing any signs of going into labor anytime soon :(
Im just so unhappy right now. I feel like Im not progressing at all, and Im so miserable. I thought when they drop your supposed to feel "relief" but Im not!? I feel horrible!!!! Ive not been this tired I dont think my ENTIRE pregnancy....
