| 29-6-2009 - a little worried |
My mood while writing this blog: Ok |
Brayden is not rolling over yet....he wont even stay on his belly long enough to learn how! he hates to be on his belly, he cares more about standing up! I still give him tummy time every day but he doesnt try to roll or crawl or anything. is this normal!? it just worries me a little, i dont want him to be behind :(

Tuesday, 30 Jun I had the same worry a few weeks ago. Zariya is about 2 weeks older than Brayden! I saw all the other kids rolling over, holding themselves up and some are even sitting up. AND this is my 3rd so you'd think I'd not worry! But I did...even if I didn't share my worries.
But it's like an alarm goes off and all of a sudden they learn their new 'trick'. Z rolls over and back now like a champ. Took a few weeks for her to master it. She still gets a little pissy on her tummy but can lift herself up just fine now. She's not sitting up unassisted yet but I try to give her some balance time.
I put her in the exersaucer a lot too. She loves it and it's making her legs and back stronger. So don't worry that it's too early.
So it sounds like Brayden is doing fine! My son, who's now 3, was one of those early kids...walking at 9 months but didn't have a tooth in his head until after he was one!!! So it just shows you that each kid is different and a month for a baby is a life time. For us it's agony!!! LOL.

Monday, 29 Jun Hi, I just came across your blog. My first son did everything when he was supposed to and followed the books almost to a T. Than my second son....followed his own book. The only thing that Sean did on time was sit up. My Sean didnt start crawling until he was 10.5 months and still then he didn't crawl right. He didnt roll over until almost 11 months!! Then he took off walking at 12.5 months. My baby was really just lazy. He was a bigger baby, so the doctor told me that was pretty common. I wouldn't fret too much :) erin a -
Monday, 29 Jun Ive heard rolling isnt really a milestone but i dont know how true this is. I wont not be concerned though. When it comes to crawling it is a little to early to be concerned. alot of babies dont crawl tell 7-8 months.
