22-2-2009 - My First Blog :)

My mood while writing this blog: Tired

So this is my first blog. I've been on this site for a few weeks now, but just never blogged. I LOVE reading all of the other blogs though, so I thought I'd share a few thoughts.

This is my first pregnancy, and I am nearing the end. I am very anxious to meet my little girl (Jayde Chryslyn). I love writing/seeing her name, LOL! I think we did pretty good coming up with it...her daddy has gone by JayR for the longest time (a derivative of Junior or Jr.), so he wanted a Jay name and i love J names. So, that's how we came up with Jayde (just spelled a little differently from the typical Jade). Her middle name comes from my oldest sister (who died in 1991)...her name was Charslyn, and I just played around with it some til I came up with something I like.

Anyways...my daughter's father and I have been doing well lately. To give some background we met June 30, 2007 and dated very seriously until March 2008. Even after breaking up officially we still were "together" and our little girl was conceived at the end of June 2008. We've been on and off since then with some pretty rough patches as I've been going through my pregnancy. At one point I really cut off all contact with him. What has made things hard is the money/work issue (for me anyways). I've been working two jobs (teaching full-time 40-50 hrs. a week and tutoring part-time 6-10 hrs. a week) up until beginning of Feb. I've paid for EVERYTHING in preparation for our daughter (eventhough he promised to help). He works, but I don't know what he does with all of his money (considering he lives with his mother still and pays very little bills in that household. So yeah, it's been rough. However, lately things have been good. He's still not helping money-wise but I ask him to run all the errands and do the little work in the nursery of putting things up and together. He does spend lots of time at my place with me, so the relationship is better too. I'm kind of afraid this will change, and with Jayde almost here I would hate for us to be fighting again. Just pray for me/us.

Well, my first blog turned out to be pretty long...hopefully I'll continue so talk to you ladies later!
