01-7-2009 - Jayde is 4 months old!!!

My mood while writing this blog: okay

First off, thanks for all your love and support on the last blog...i will update that later as i don't feel like thinking/talking about it right now.

My princess is 4 months old! OMG, i've been a mom for 4 whole months! Feels great to know that i have comitted to and been the sole provider for another life for 1/3 of a year, lol. Anyways, Jayde is growing and changing quite a bit everyday...she now pulls her head up and holds it up when laying on her back, scoots across the floor, rolls over, holds objects, sleeps 12 hours at night (only doing a 20-30min. wake up to eat), and babbles up a storm. It's soooo cute...when i sing to her, she laughs and tries to sing along, then talks to me. I'm thankful she's my lil princess and can't wait til we can have real convos. about clothes, jewlery, makeup, BOYS lol!

And the newest addition...her ears are pierced!!! We got em done today at Claire's in the mall, and she did awesome. She only cried for about 3 mins. and the earrings look nice. She's always been a pretty girl, but now i just can't stop looking at her; it's adorable!

Also, our lil vacay was GREAT! We went and visited a college friend of mine, and the ONLY thing i paid for was gas to get there. Her mom cooked for us every night, we went out for icecream, to a nice outdoor Italian restaurant, and the zoo. She was sooooo excited to take Jayde to the zoo, lol, eventhough Jayde slept for 1.5 hrs of the zoo visit. But, i was excited just to be out and enjoying a stress-free life! Everything was nice...her mom bought Jayde a big can of formula so thats been lasting me since last Friday (it's almost time for more) and she filled my gas tank up for us to get back. Wow! Genuinely kind ppl DO still exist. I got a tiny break from Jayde when we went out for ice cream so thats always a plus cuz yall know us single moms need a lil break here and there. Can't wait til the next!

Well, ladies, i'm gonna take it easy tonight; i hope you all do the same every now and again... no dishes, no laundry, no cleaning, no phone calls to ask when/what, no worrying, just the basics needed to take care of me and the princess! :)
